ABOUT

Serafina Piasentin is a Canadian author, but her writing stretches across the world. She holds a BA(H) degree in English Literature and Creative Writing with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Windsor with credits from the University of Edinburgh and Keele University. A MA degree in English at Dalhousie University is underway.
Her work has appeared in many collections, anthologies, and journals in Canada and the UK, including Where The Map Begins, Inventio, and Catch The Whispers Anthology Of Verse. ​

Serafina is the Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Gently Mad Magazine, a literary journal publishing poetry, short stories, and art for sanity's sake. She works as a freelance journalist for Windsor Life as well as a lifeguard and first aid instructor. She has interned with Canada's oldest independent publishing company, Black Moss Press through the Outstanding Scholars program, and has TA'd for undergraduate classes. When she isn't focused on writing, you can find her travelling the world (53 countries and counting).​
