ABOUT ME

Hi everyone! My name is Serafina Piasentin, the owner of this blog and the author of all literary works posted under Homepage and My Favourites :)

Here's a little bit about me:​

I am 22 years old with a BA(H) from the University of Windsor. I majored in English Literature and Creative Writing (who would've thought!) and have a minor in Philosophy. I am headed to the University of Edinburgh for a MA summer course in Creative Writing. I have been published in eight collections in Canada and England, including Where The Map Begins and Catch The Whispers Anthology Of Verse— Young Writers of Canada. I created this blog in order to share my words with the world. This way I'm not the only person who learns and loves my poems, essays, and stories!

What's a bio without some fun facts:

I come from a family of 6 whom I am very grateful for; I play the piano; I work as a lifeguard and leadership instructor; I have travelled to 31 countries and counting; it is my dream to publish novels. My go-to is fiction or free-verse poetry. I have written a fiction trilogy and am currently writing a historical fiction novel, both of which I am working to find representation for; I hope to create a friendly and positive environment where everyone is welcome and appreciated!

I can't wait to start this journey with everyone :)
